ChatGPT can be extremely useful for common tech support queries. While the same support could be obtained through a search engine, this often involves sifting through numerous results and dodging ads to find a relevant answer. To start, make sure you have ChatGPT setup. View the iOS or Andriod Getting started pages if you don’t have it installed.
If you are trying to get help doing something on your MacBook for example it is as simple as typing in the request in the chat prompt. The simple prompt “How to take a screenshot on macbook” will return something like:
Taking a screenshot on a MacBook is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:
- Whole Screen:
- Press
Shift + Command + 3. - The screenshot will be saved to your desktop.
- Portion of the Screen:

Shift + Command + 4. - Drag to select the area of the screen you want to capture.
